The Wax

The type of wax used determines the main characteristics

of how the candle burns.  In general, the wax determines

  • How long the candle burns

  • How well it throws the scent

  • The intensity of the scent

  • How completely it burns

  • The burning temperature

We prefer Soy wax for the following reasons

It contains no animal byproducts, making it a popular choice for plant-based lifestyles compared to alternatives like beeswax. One of the most significant advantages of soy wax candles is that they burn cleaner than paraffin candles. Soy wax produces little to no soot, reducing indoor air pollution and the risk of staining walls or ceilings. This cleaner burn makes soy wax candles an excellent choice for those with allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to smoke and soot.

The lower melting point of soy wax allows for a larger melt pool around the wick, which helps to disperse the fragrance oils more effectively. This results in a stronger and more consistent scent throw, filling your space with delightful aromas. Whether you prefer floral, fruity, or woody scents, soy wax candles ensure a more enjoyable fragrance experience.

Non-Toxic

Soy wax is a natural product, free from the harmful chemicals often found in paraffin candles. When you burn a natural soy wax candle, you can rest assured that you are not releasing toxins into the air. This makes soy wax candles a healthier choice for you, your family, and your pets.

Clean up

Accidental spills happen, but with soy wax candles, clean-up is easy. Soy wax is biodegradable and partially water-soluble, it can be easily removed from most surfaces with soap and warm water. Soy wax is also soluble in isopropyl alcohol which dissolves soy wax cleanly and without odor.  This convenience makes our candles an excellent option for households with children and pets.
